Anyone willing to share some best resources (books, podcasts, etc) for imposture syndrome? For awareness, I am a white women in HR. Always struggled with confidence but experienced some brutal/toxic management with my HR role with a bad business partner (now in a new role), and I am continuing to struggle with my confidence. Appreciate resources that are “self-help”. Also considering a therapist but hoping to also own the process myself for quicker “recovery”. TIA!

Have you ever accepted a job offer as a candidate(or had a candidate accept your offer of employment as a recruiter/hiring manager), and then rescind? I have 2 opportunities but the timelines are misaligned. I think I'm shortly getting an offer from one while I'm midway thru the process with the other. I don't want to end up in a position of saying yes but then getting a better offer and rescinding. I don't think I can ask for more than a week to think about it. Any advice on best way to handle?

Whats the deal with some people being fine filling out I9s virtually and some emphasizing the need to see identification in person? I understand the current law is that if your company is fully remote, you can verify virtually.

How diligent is Mintz background check. When it comes to education? My references, credit, criminal and work experiences will check out. However said I already graduated school when I am in reality a month away from graduating. The company sent over the contract and start date at the same time as the background check.

Does anyone have any recommendations for regional sales/recruiting manager roles in the Nashville area that pays a livable Salary plus commissions. I have been in Sales for 15 years, and management roles for over 5. I moved to TN in 2019 right before the pandemic and it has been one thing after the next. I have considered tech sales courses to get into that but I love working for staffing companies, managing clients/recruiters/other sales staff and being in the field as well as in the office.

I need advice.. I am supposed to be starting a new job with a one of the big 4 firms next week, but my current contract job has offered me the full-time position as well and this offer is better than the one offered by the big 4 firm. I accepted the firms offer months ago but now i have to back out last minute and i feel terrible about it. How should i communicate this to them?

I am increasingly more dissatisfied each day working at my current company and of course I used that energy to apply for jobs. The process of hating my job and applying for a new job is so exhausting. I want to just quit my job right now and hope I get a job offer soon but I don’t like the idea of me being unemployed. What is your job title? As it right now I’m managing a team of product owners and I’m unofficially being called “Chief Product Owner.” I’m in the process of working with a coach to get my resume updated so I can begin applying for external roles. But I don’t even know what job titles to target.
