That's a great question. It has been sluggish for so long. I think once the economy starts heading in the right direction, the job market will follow. I hope that's how it goes because it's been tough for so many people out there.
I keep seeing on the news that is getting back to normal. I don't see it. Do you. I saw last night on ABC that mid-2024 should be back to mostly normal. I'll believe it when I see it.
For sure it will take time. I heard there are still lay offs going on and it's still hard to land a job nowadays. Even though there are reports of increase in economic activity, it is not that evident considering the current unemployment rate.
It's going to take some time. All these people who have been and are getting laid off will have to find jobs, but how many jobs are being created? What happens when this next influx of new grads gets ouf ot school? They'll all have to find jobs and the market will be even worse. It's going to take years I think for the market to be back to "normal."
