When I moved to in-house, my last agency laid me off. Fast forward years later, they called me to let me know they were pitching our business. The tone of my voice said I was the last person to come to for insider help. Was I being petty or was this a karma moment? Anyone with similar experiences?

Haven’t had exact same experience but definitely had people reaching out to me that got into biz dev and sales roles. Lots of revisionist history. I just let it go. People get caught up in lots of BS

You’re right. It’s not quite the same. I would be their client and I shouldn’t be uncomfortable with working with the chosen agency. If I disagreed with something, they would accuse me of being difficult. I’ve seen them do it. It was also insulting to see them present previous work that was mine. That actually knocked them out of consideration. Why hire you when your big idea creative already works for us?

How long does it take for PwC to send out rejection email? I interviewed with the team like a month ago, the recruiter called me the next day and told me that congrats, everyone likes me and told that they were working on my official offer. 3 weeks later, nothing. I followed up 3 times already and got the answer that I should expect to hear by the end of the week. My last follow up email, no response lol. Should I just move on now?
