Very practical
It’s not frowned upon but I would go out of my way to make them feel individually special. They didn’t ask for their birthdays to be 5 days apart. And yes ask them if they would be ok with it. Remember its their birthday. Not yours. Do what they say. (Not talking in a rude way)
We bundle birthdays in my family for the big celebrations like parties. The day itself we personalize.
Are you gonna give the kids the money that you saved by doing a joint bday? If so, sounds like a great idea! I might have to borrow a page from your book 😉
Hey... that money is mine!!! My precious!!
Thanks all for sharing your thoughts on this.
Ask kids? If they are ok sharing.
I do it for birthdays a month apart. I asked the older one and he did not care.
It just makes it easier to get family together plus one less party to get ready for and cleanup.
2 days shy of 2 years apart. Joint parties until they're sick of each other.
I have two that are on 20th and 23rd of the same month. They alternate years for who’s having a party. We always have a family dinner and cake
