When you’re at work and feeling overstimulated, what do you do? If you can’t necessarily take a break, how do you handle it? I try to withdraw a bit but it doesn’t always work…

If it's possible I'll try to take a short walk, as just moving around a little bit can calm me down. If that's not a good option, I'll try to consciously slow down my breathing. I can get annoyed and agitated and feel, as you say, overstimulated, and just making myself aware of my breathing can sometimes help me to feel more in control.

Sometimes I’m unable to step away from the work. The breathing is a good one though, I can surely do that at least

Are you allowed to bring a book? Maybe getting lost in a nice photography book can get your mind off of whatever is overstimulating you.

Hi fishes,

My joining date mentioned in IBM Offer letter which I received just a while ago is second week of November, 2021. However, I have 90 days notice period. It also says to accept within 3 days and a clause is written that joining date can be revised only till 5 days. Will ibm revise my joining date ? I am very anxious it's too late so I cant even call recruiter.

Please suggest.
