Has anyone interviewed with Amazon in the last 6 months. I finished my loop for a finance role. It’s been 8 business days and no update from the recruiter. I mailed the recruiter who said apologies for the delay but we will get back to you with next steps. Has anyone had this experience and what was the outcome Amazon

It would have to be my high school biology teacher, Mr. T (his last name was Romanian). He not only taught us biology, but how to think. He stressed being observant of your surroundings. This we used when doing a field study to catalog various types of insects, worms, and such in a one-foot square. He put the answers to a test on a bulletin board in the back of the room, but only one of us was observant enough to see it. He told us about perspectives. He had a college professor who gave nothing higher than a B in class even if the student scored well enough on tests to earn an A. "I expect everyone in this class to get most answers right, so that's average and a C is average. If you score better than that, you get a B. If you want an A, you need to do an extra report." He didn't impose that requirement -- we were a public school, for heaven's sake. But the lesson learned was not be satisfied with "average" and don't think you're all that and a bag of chips just because you do well on tests.
My favorite teacher growing up was Mrs. Hyett in 8th grade. She taught English and could quote many poems. The Raven was my favorite that she recited. She had a reputation of being tough, and I prayed all summer between seventh and eighth grade that I would not get her and then when I got to school she was on my schedule. I wasn’t happy, but as the year went on we grew very close, and I even kept in contact with her after junior high, she was the best teacher I ever had. Just goes to show. Be careful what you pray for cause unanswered prayers might be best.
Mrs. Porter 5th grade! I was painfully shy and extremely sensitive as a kid and she made me feel like I was smart and important.

I have a couple. My 3rd grade teacher stands out because I was dyslexic and didn't learn to really read until the 3rd grade. The other teachers were always my literature and composition teachers. I think it is poetic that I am now a dyslexia teacher and reading interventionist.
