I'd be pretty skeptical of something like that. Not to sound too paranoid, but with all the DNA testing available today I think your concern about privacy is warranted. It also sounds like quite a lot of money for one blood draw, and that makes me wonder if it's some kind of scam masquerading as a medical experiment.
If it's legit biomedical research, they cannot share your info. Know your sources!
I was part of a long covid trial and I don't regret it. It was a way I could help others suffering like I was, even if it was just a small way. I wouldn't hesitate to participate in health studies as long as I was comfortable with how my data would be used.

Thanks for sharing your experience!
A friend did something with a 24 hour stay in a hospital…in London…he got a free trip from Dc to UK out of it.

Whoa that sounds intense. I don’t think I’d be able to do that
I’d probably pass too. I worry about privacy and what happens with medical information once it’s out of my hands. I’d rather skip it and find other ways to earn extra cash. Nothing is ever really free.

Very true
Unless it’s for the Super Soldier Serum, I ain’t doing it

lol!
I'd probably only go for it was with a reputable medical company or research institution. I actually had my blood drawn for a clinical trial with a big pharmaceutical company, and I felt comfortable because I trusted their process. The money is appealing, but my main concern would be making sure my health information was protected first. They should give you an informed consent form explaining how they will use your information. If they don't or if anything seems off in that, I wouldn't do it.

Thanks for sharing! I’m going to do more research before I make a decision
I would jump on it but only after researching the company and the contract I would have to sign. I do not want my blood to be used for anything strange.
It’s legit research. Do it ! They already know all your sht anyway
