Yes, I would consider moving to a different company for the same pay if it offers a better title and opportunities to gain broader experience. While compensation is important, career growth, skill development, and the chance to take on more responsibility are equally valuable. I believe investing in roles that expand my capabilities and professional network can have a longer-term impact on my career trajectory, even if the immediate salary remains the same.
Hmm, I don't think I would. I would probably only move for higher pay. I don't want to learn a new job for the same pay.

That moment when someone says “I know it’s not your fault” really does take the edge off. For me the key is remembering that I am the person they are talking to, not the cause of the problem. Listening and helping where I can is part of the job, but I try to mentally leave their frustration at the door when the interaction ends.

If the title and experience actually open doors later, it can be worth it even at the same pay. Titles can shape how future employers see your path. The key question is whether the new role truly gives you broader responsibility or just a different label for the same work.

I would consider it. Career progression is key to higher salaries. And moving companies is an even bigger factor in that sometimes. I’d try to negotiate a higher salary, or negotiate an increase after the probationary period. It’s no use sticking around there if there is no movement
