That is the only way I get through my days! I set mine hourly.
How often do you have an alarm? That's such a good idea. Ive never heard of that. I'm definitely going to do that.

Take a mini break every now and then, such as going to make a cuppa, gives you a couple of mins away from your screen to refresh a little bit.
In the US, most of us have off for Labor Day. So today is a day for taking it easy, but all the chaos will just pile up for Tuesday morning. That's the thing with federal holidays on Mondays, you really wind up with a five-day week but it's jammed into four days.
We have bank holidays too but not today. We had one last Monday but like you say, it's the same amount of work rammed into fewer days.
Take breaks as needed. Sometimes that 5-minute pause actually lets you get through more with a clearer head. Something else I like to do is sit back and look at everything, getting lost in the details makes me feel like I’m spinning my wheels a lot and not getting anywhere.
That sounds like a good idea. Just to take a step back. It's easy to get lost on everything.
I make a ruthless list and pick the top three things that absolutely must get done today. Everything else waits. Otherwise the chaos wins and you just spin your wheels without finishing anything.
