How does the Merck interview/hiring process work? My wife interviewed there 2 weeks ago for a job and hasn’t heard anything… today she got an email from workday about “continuing the process”. I have given 3 rounds of interview for the position of SE- B8 , i.e. Lead SE. Now in salary discussion round i asked HR for a CTC between a range of 31-34L. But they told me max they can give is 29.5L. I still did not accepted the initial offer from HR, it is going again one more round for salary negotiation after HR confirms the bracket from Business. I know Natwest dont negotiate once you accepted the offer. What CTC can i expect from Natwest for Lead SE.

Does anyone actually think opening up the Greenbelt for housing is a good idea? Like, c'mon... There are so many other options out there.

I have an approved i140 from company A, I got an offer from company B but as per their policy new perm will only be applied after 1 year. Wanted to understand if I can jump to company C if B hasn’t stilled filed from Perm? Also what happens if he files and not approved? Can I use my old i140 from company A to jump to company C?

- fairly decent place to work (from someone who worked with the Vancouver and San Jose offices). never met a blue badger (permanent employee) who had awful things to say.

- Ashley Goodall (their SVP, Methods & Intelligence) co-authored a brilliant book on leadership and people management called “Nine Lies About Work” that makes me believe they can be an awesome place to work
