No one beats McDonald’s! ABSOLUTELY NO ONE! They’re like the old frat boys that show up to the party and think they still got it but they are really the creepy uncles.

Coca Cola. Worst clients ever. And they don’t have many AORs outside of brand so every project is a pitch.

Gotta love when the client fires the agency but then runs their campaign with new new agency.

Tell me about a client who turned bad

Client: I want to make a 30s TV ad. I want reach.

Agency: For the same budget, we could do this newsworthy activation that will get you lots of PR, film it, and put it as a 30s TV ad.

Client: Nah.

Anheuser Busch are sadists.

A new client: “ I’m an amazing client and I deserve as much discount as possibile”
The client is annoying, pretending, not educated and small. I’m considering to not moving forward at this point.

Five months of detective work to find out info requested... Contacted 15 different people- burned on agency review. Then said “no thanks”.

Stop me if you’ve heard this: “thanks for bringing the folks from (platform) to meet with us, we want to use them next year. Since the algorithm does everything, why do we need to pay your fee?”

Imagine getting everything late from client and creative team and hoping everything would be okay mid-flight. I sense a digital-based nuclear bomb is on the way mid-flight.

Me: You could...but the headline is 16pts.

5 sec. social media animation turns into highlight of client tech at trade show / cooperate video... refusing to pay for the additional 5 weeks of work, and only agrees to the original 4 day estimate

Client goes into >$150k in edit overages and counting, and we’re trying to award round 2 of the campaign, Cost Consultant writes me: “I sort of want to shoot myself”. 🤦‍♀️

Any thoughts on how to convince a client that the “design” they made in canva or something isn’t good or should be reworked without offending them, since it’s their “baby” and they love it 😅 ?

What's been your worst client experience of 2019?

Had a client who stopped paying because the brand wasn’t bigger than Coca-cola after 3 months of work. Client then decided to shutter their company after finding their true calling: light healer.

A woman at work has just resigned.
The reason: The client - a male in his 50s would throw pens at her in meetings.He would comment on her breast size.
She complained to the MD and he did nothing.

Worst brand, not client? Like Porta Potty.

I was on the media side for a client who wasn’t known for “performance” and wanted to have a campaign (really a TV/OLV) that conveyed that for US market. It went on for 18 months (cond)

Client responds to deck at 10:20 pm requesting art revisions prior to 7 am. 🤯

No. That’s not possible. There isn’t an team overseas working a night shift and you’re inconsiderate to even ask.

When the “brief” is 3 sentences in an email and when follow-up questions are asked they say we ask too many questions and need to execute.
