Well, this is my last vacation post from the Gulf. The seagulls were especially brave yesterday (of course, we all kept feeding them). Play along with me-which classes/students do the pictures make you think of. More pictures in the comments. The 1st picture makes me think of my 8th Graders-there is always that student floating around creating chaos while another student is ramping up to join in. Of course, then there is the student who is sitting there like "What the heck's going on?"

My favorite thing about Summer Break-puppy snuggles! Sadly, it's time to get up and get this day started . Laying cardboard and straw around my watermelon 🍉 and squash beds today. Only 42 days until school starts for me, but only 3 days until Gulf Shores vacation starts.

Let the 4th of July Celebration begin. We are having a huge celebration at our church tonight. I would say there is probably close to 2,000 people gathered in with food trucks, family, and friends. It's my favorite time of the summer. What are your summer traditions?

Well, the storms hit! Now we are out of power, and there is no clear idea of when the power will be back on. There are trees and powering down everywhere. They are saying we may get more bad weather.

We are having severe weather today. I was able to get some weeding done this morning. Planned on going out after the sun was blocked by the tree in the yard. Not now? How's your weather today?
