I hear you, but don't worry too much, that's a good way to be. If you're thoughtful about what you do, you'll naturally find inspiring things when you're doing anything else. What I do sometimes is just jot down some notes and later go back and see if there's anything I noted that could be incorporated into class material. I find that if I just jot things down, I can forget about them quickly and get back to doing whatever I'd been doing.
Agree 100%. My jot-down is a quick post to a Google Classroom that I call "Ideas" I never add students or other teachers, just post to the stream with links or whatever, sometimes in the moment and sometimes later on.
I do the same! I have Google Keep on my phone to jot down ideas to return to later. People have told me that I’m a “for real, for real” teacher! 🤣 Always trying to inspire, connect lessons to the real world, and improve my teaching/lessons. It’s a gift to be a great educator and it can’t be switched off! 😉 Good, passionate teachers are a dying breed! Be proud of it and keeping doing you to inspire students! 💕
I'll have to research Google Keep and see if it is applicable to what I need to keep all my thoughts organized
