Well, this is my last vacation post from the Gulf. The seagulls were especially brave yesterday (of course, we all kept feeding them). The 1st picture makes me think of my 8th Graders-there is always that student floating around creating chaos while another student is ramping up to join in. Of course, then there is the student who is sitting there like "What the heck's going on?"

Been Interested in working at a FAANG for the past 5 years. I am a Certified Scrum Master, Agile Coach, and Product Owner. I never see many roles in those areas at most FAANG companies ?? Can someone help me out ? Is it a different title at those companies and are referrals needed ??

3 Things to keep in mind which changing jobs:
1. Always ask dedicated budget for the job before you tell your expectations.

2. Always have atleast 2 weeks of gap before you join any company. You might not understand significance of that but just have a gap.

3. Always talk to people of team you will be joining before you accept offer or atleast before you join company.

Is it more worth it to go into FDD at a regional firm now, or hope that my current big 4 will transfer me come spring 2021?

I'm kind of in the mindset of only doing FDD at big 4, otherwise I'll go straight to industry. Am I being too down on mid-market FDD experience and the related exit ops?

Also, I can't go the route of doing FDD at a different big 4. Already got rejected by all of them cause I'm not in audit (but have CPA).
