I’m doing a cs degree rn & I want to be an appsec engineer but I’m not sure which is a better path for growth: Path A: SMART scholarship which involves a 4 year gov commitment after college grad. But they offer a stipend and full cost of college (I already covered cost of college)
Plan B: Or should I just go for a private sector job straight out of college and hope to get internships while in university.

How difficult is it to break into mbb from B4 consulting?

I am looking for the weekend jobs in the production department. I have done graduation in mechanical Engineering and my majors were lean manufacturing and statistics quality control. I am looking forward for these job. Everyone wants experienced employee. Right now I am working in custom machining workshop.

Home office preference question. I am getting ready to redo the layout of my home office. One option I'm considering would have my desk facing a wall. E.g. if I see a job requirement I fit, then does having a senior associate refer me carry more weight than a staff? How about manager versus Sr?

Got an offer from @IBM ISL

Role : Senior Software Engineer

Offered CTC : 22.5 fixed +2.5 JB

Is it a fair amount for 8.5 YOE? Should he negotiate further. As this is his first offer , should he keep trying for better salary?
