Initially it will be manual and then it will have automation testing. At the same time I have an offer in another company with good package but there won't be much learning compared to the current company project I am yet to get locked. I want to get to know the local private companies. I worked at a private company with 2-3k employees before my MBA. They had an amazing culture, but limited progression opportunities. I'm thinking about looking for a smaller company (couple hundred to couple thousand employees) in the Dallas area and looking to find an amazing culture.

Question: do y’all really love this stuff and understand it? Or are you all on the “fake it til you make it” wave? I ask because I’m in a specialty group under the Corporate umbrella and many of the partners and some senior associates are extremely smart and clearly enjoy this stuff. Some even do “night time reading” to catch up on the recent laws. I, on the other hand, cannot wrap my head around it most of the time and would rather not waste energy doing it. Is it just me?
