On the topic of intimacy with partners… I’ve been with my boyfriend for 2 years and the past year his libido has dropped to zero. Mostly due to work stress (he says). Whenever I try to initiate, he always shuts me down and says he’s not in the mood. I even touch him and he gets hard but stops me as soon as I try to unzip him. I want to work completely remote as I am lazy to travel 1hr to reach office and got used to WFH model. But my manager is kind of forcing me to come to office atleast once in a week and I want to negotiate it to once in a month.. any tips or suggestions for negotiation please.

Need some inputs. My BU just went into a reorg which has benefitted me and I got a promise to a fast track promotion within 18 months of my joining. So as a 30ish yo with a government/PE/tech background and CIPM/CIPP… I’m finding privacy work is just much easier and interesting than other kinds, but still pays plenty well.

Is it too late/inadvisable to go to law school to specifically aim for privacy work?

I just find some firms are unwilling to entertain the idea that anyone but a lawyer has anything relevant to contribute in this space…

I have just got an options trader job at a prop trading firm. But I knew nothing about options/trading/finance. The firms said they’ll be officially training us once we start. But in the meantime, what are some books/resources that you would recommend to start learning first?
