D2, on the selling question at the moment I’m a position trader. Last Feb I basically ditched all the LT index funds and went more active. I typically hold a position for a few weeks or months now. I missed half the draw down last year and have been able to stay ahead of the market with less cash invested. At these levels and with the number of cross currents in the economy and asset market, I don’t see a lot that I’m comfortable with holing and not touching over the next 5-10+ years.
Depending on the asset type I have a max position and a minimum position. When I raise cash on something I still like I’m taking it down to a smaller position. I’ll take it back up to max size on an attractive dip. But even my ‘best winners’ are subject to getting closed out when the trends fall apart. MP and PLL were fantastic for me, but they broke their trends and were sold off. Might get back in as things improve.

I think I am the only person who cashed out AMC prior to the real squeeze. Shoot me.
Haha yeah sold my last bit months ago at the $12 pop. Where do you think this ends up going? Also with the amount of offerings they have done, is this even a squeeze anymore or just a case of everyone buying?

Swing trades on PDD and CRM worked out.
AMC bby, sold a position to collect initial investment, sold another to book flights to Greece with my GF and take cash off the table, and have 2 more riding to see what happens. Tough to take cash out of my brokerage, but I want to enjoy it along the way!

Added more to my jul VIX calls at the close yesterday as VIX dropped and my limit order executed. Thinking it’ll be a wild few weeks ahead not to mention the meme stocks squeezing
Is today the best day to sell calls?
Yes and no. Depends on the ticker, but VIX is lower than earlier in the week so option premiums generally aren't as strong, but if you want to hedge against a down move then its not a bad idea.
What are the thoughts on ABNB? Whats a good price target for entry point?
It based in the low 130s for awhile. Q1 bottom line miss, but take out a COVID loan they pre-paid and a charge to get out of a lease (ie long term cost savings). And they generated almost half a billion in FCF. Think where we were with COVID in Q1. There’s been some good options flow this week. So, I’d say watch for a pullback if market goes south, it’s a LT hold for me. Risk is that P/S valuation is still pretty high if it doesn’t grow.
