I’ve been job searching since I was about the same gestation as you—I’m now 16 weeks. I’ve still not told my recruiter. I figure I’ll tell them after I get an offer and we’ll go from there, but from my perspective it’s no one’s concern until the offer stage!
My plan is to negotiate the maternity leave with any offer I get so not concerned about the stated minimum requirements. If they say I won’t get mat leave, I just won’t take the offer.
I would but because I’d want to know the firm’s parental leave policy ahead of time, and whether there are any min requirements to qualify for it.
I wouldn’t. If you get an offer they will tell you leave benefits
Don’t say anything until negotiations. Then definitely raise it and make sure you get all of the benefits you want for leave. This is what my husband did when I was 6 months pregnant. The new job required him to be there a year before he had any parental leave benefits. He’d made them want him enough that he was able to negotiate full benefits off the books during the offer phase.

5 weeks is too early, anything could happen. (But hopefully it sticks!)
3-4 weeks from now I would tell the recruiter.
I like this plan.
I would not disclose that yet.
It’s unfortunate but I think you’ll get ghosted by the recruiter if you tell them upfront.
In this market I would not tell until you have an offer and negotiating leave.
