Trust company
Basically the only answer
I hit F to see responses originally, but in my experience (10yrs in T&E) the in house roles require a lot of business development unless you are one of the few true reviewing attorneys, but there only a handful per bank/trust company. The majority of the positions are client facing relationship roles helping clients understand how to plan their estates and farming the drafting out to firms. You will be expected to bring new trust clients to the bank.

Banks or credit unions - I am a month in house and I could not be more thrilled with the move. You have to deprogram yourself from law firm life and billing mentality, but my quality of life has improved a thousand fold!
I want to go into trusts and estates, but I’m curious to know what the compensation is like once leaving a firm.
