6m postpartum body and nothing fits well still. Yes, I would love to lose weight but I also want to be realistic and I need clothes that fit me now. Any recommendations?

4m postpartum and omg same. I’m in my stretchy pants era for the foreseeable future.
My favorite outfit formula right now is a relaxed button up with only three or four of the middle buttons buttoned to give it a little shape/drape and an elastic waist pant like the gauze Bondi pants from Z Supply or High Hopes from AYR. Relaxed sweatshirts and compressive leggings are heavily featured in my rotation too.

I’m 2 years pp and still nothing fits. I did have two under two and breastfed both for 1.2 years each so it definitely took a toll. Any free time is spent with them instead of working out. Pre pregnancy I was in form fitting dresses and heels everyday. Now stretchy wide leg pants.

I am 2 years pp and finally now lower than my pre-baby weight. In the interim, I really liked (and still like) the Lysse Ponte pants with the compression in the belly and they are so stretchy.

Also took me 2 years and also wore these pants!

Thredup or Poshmark so you’re not buying new clothes just to rebuy in a few months. The Aritzia Conan/Cohen pants were a staple for me, and they’re widely available through resale markets

Quince has good stuff that is inexpensive for the interim period but as other people mentioned it can take a longer time to get back to an equilibrium. I bought mostly that but a few pairs of nice jeans so I can feel like myself and love the way I look even if it’s not the same as it was. The old wardrobe will be there.

Ooh love Sezane but haven’t tried their denim - thank you!

Lululemon has stretch super comfy pants that looks like pants. I’m 2y postpartum and still 2 sizes above my prebaby but it’s okay. Skims help to smooth things. Invest in a few things that you can wear on repeat.

I used the Spanx Ponte pant until I slimmed down and got to use regular pants again. And I sized up one size for my blouses. Looking back I kinda wish I kept my style by just sizing up a little and not looking frumpy, and just rocked the post partum bod. It wasn’t a secret that I had a baby.

I still wear my maternity dress pants lol. I believe they are the Old Navy pixie. Sad thing is they’re starting to get tight… 14 months pp…

Rent the runway monthly subscription or something like that—you can get different clothes for different seasons for what fits you now.

In patents, so ymmv since we tend to be more casual, but I’ve gotten away with black stretchy yoga pants with back and side pockets and just make sure I’m wearing nice leather shoes, a silk or quality blouse, and a high quality cotton, wool, or cashmere sweater, suit coat or jacket along with nice jewelry. No one seems to notice the relatively causal bottoms if everything else is dressed up and half the time my client meetings are online anyway. In terms of expenses, ThredUp has been a life saver for me if you don’t mind used clothes. I just picked up some nice silk blouses and dresses for like $20 a piece.

Rent the Runway or Armoire! And giving yourself grace: you just had a baby, and your last several months have been devoted to taking care of them! Great job!

Got a 30% salary bump, via an offer for Senior Consultant S&O from Deloitte. Currently underpaid at EY Advisory. I'm MBA and this year is my promotion year at EY for Manager. What to do? Get demoted and move to D? Or counter at EY? Even if EY matches my salary, and promote me to Manager, I will be an EY Manager with a Deloitte SC salary, and probably won't be able to go to D in the future. What do you think? I have built up a good relationship with my Partner and SMs at EY though.
