Can I apply for your position if you are leaving lol
Not sure what an LT is, but I suggest setting up a 1:1 with the hiring manager to learn more about their expectations of the role, not just what you may assume about it, before an interview. That way you can tailor your interview answers to highlighting that you’re already competent in those skills or have had the right experiences. I’d also tailor interview answers around the STAR method and bring in Visa values, strategic thought leadership skills, and people leadership skills.
Do it!!! Take the risk and communicate openly how you would be a better choice!
That’s awesome! Internal candidates are always considered first. A referral and write up from your boss will help as well. Your only competition is other employees. I wouldn’t share with anyone but your boss & the hiring manager. Sometimes telling others talks us right out of our blessings. Sharing too soon.
