Yep. Bait and switching is the new norm. "Why would I sign on with a company that breaks their word on day 1?" YOU wouldn't, because you realize this for the trash behavior it is and aren't desperate enough to put up with it. The thing is, very few people looking for work are in the same position. If you're unemployed, you're not going to quibble over this, you're just going to accept it. That's what companies are banking on when they do stuff like this.

Software test automation engineer 4.5 yoe

I have got 2 offers -
Emerson export engineering - 15L fixed + 1.6 variable
Wolters Kluwer - 15L fixed + 10% bonus + 1L joining bonus

Which one is better and which should i join. Emerson is calling to office from 1st days and wolters kluwer have agreed for few months of work from home.

Any advice would be appreciated.
