Those who work at big 4, could you share at which level your firm applies green card for you? And which firm are you in? I’m an experienced associate at PwC and got lottery this year, so just want to know roughly when I’m eligible. Thanks.
I live in LA. I’m currently interviewing at McKinsey for a role offered in multiple cities outside of LA. It’s totally worth it to pack my stuff and make the move if I land this... but is there any chance that they would provide an option to stay in LA even if they don’t have an office here?
Any recommendations for improving posture (OTHER than an ergonomic chair)? I’m slouching a lot while working and want to know what products or tips have worked for these long WFH days.
3rd year V20 and don’t really have any one partner I’m close with at the firm. I’ve worked for many different people but wouldn’t say I repeatedly work with the same partners (and regardless there is usually a senior associate I report to more than the partner). People know me, but my no means are we “close”. This feels like a major flaw of large practice groups in BigLaw (Corporate), where juniors remain largely anonymous. Tips to fix this / improve relations (especially during remote working)?
Was on track interviewing with an awesome shop, then absolute crickets. It’s been a month since they said they wanted me to interview with the rest of the team. I’ve followed up several times....
Would you wear a tie to an interview, if no one at the company wears ties on daily basis? I haven’t worn one since my interview 3 years ago, and have never worn one since.
If I put in my two weeks exactly before my one year anniversary with the firm (signing bonus payback no longer applies) and I get let go immediately, do I still need to pay back my bonus?
To the hiring managers in this bowl, when a job description "requires" a clearance, does this typically mean it's required? or should a clearance eligible candidate still apply?
Looking at the sunflower cissp guide now. What are the numbers next to the topic headers in parenthesis? I'm giving it this Monday. Every boson test i take, I'm failing. 😔 Freaking out.
Reapplying to an MBA program. Should I give my new recommender a copy of my recommendation letters from last year?
Out sick one day and worked from home. Come in the next day and male client asks me in front of the entire team “are you pregnant?” (I’m not) 😐 is this very inappropriate or am I overreacting?
Anyone ever think of quitting and doing the nomad life? I know I can make $25/hr in remote side hustle and I have a good amount of cash saved up. Once covid dies down I'm going Van-life across us
