How do y’all deal with people at work who are stuck on stupid? Like they have no idea what they’re talking about and they REFUSE to learn. It’s like they have a god complex or something even with proof, maybe bc of their tenure at the company? Even if there’s valid data backing up that they’re wrong. Maybe it’s bc I’m a type 8 enneagram, but it frustrates the hell out of me!
So any advice would be lovely :)

2. Wipro - 12.0 lpa
3. Mphasis -13.0 lpa

Revenues are at lowest since 2008, and I think investment banks are being forced to rethink their entire business model

I just hit my lean fire number but am hesitating to pull the trigger, so was hoping to run it by people smarter than me:

- I have a few rentals that bring in ~$1800/mo cash flow, taxes are negligible, Capex incl.
- My paper assets will bring in ~$1200/mo at 3% draw
- I get free Healthcare at the VA
- No plans on kids
- My expenses haven't topped $30k/yr ever
- I could always reenter the workforce if needed (albeit probably not in consulting)

Please point out the flaws here, what am I missing?

What are the best investment books or authors for beginners? What are the best podcasts, YouTube channels or bloggers to follow? What are your favorite stock trading platforms? And if you finally have six figures cash ready to invest, what's the best place to start? Which broker / financial advisor would you recommend? This is only for 3-5 years to ultimately buy a decent home for my family.

Any thoughts on Strategy& and their life sciences team? How is the reputation in comparison to Life sciences focused places such as LEK, ClearView, ZS, IQVIA, etc? How is the WLB? And what is the compensation for a senior associate?

I'm reading this book on boundaries. In the work section it says I should tell my boss that I can't work after 5 PM. Knowing that advertising work commonly goes past 5 PM...would my job be in danger if I said that?
There's not really a rule book that says I must work until the work is done even though it's an unsaid expectation. Thoughts?

Worked so hard to get a tech exit with reasonable comp, but now that I got it, it feels weird to leave strat consulting. Consulting pays more in the longer term with much faster progression, but once in tech always in tech, more meaningful S&O work and better wlb (hopefully??)

Anyone felt this way before? :(
