Can we talk software? Is anyone using something other than Word or Google Docs for writing and managing their stuff? I’ve been looking into Craft and Obsidian lately, but I’m not sure if it’s just going to complicate things.

I'm looking for suggestions.
I have completed ITIL v4 foundation certificate and looking forward to do next certification but unable to decide between ITIL strategist/ Azure Devops/ TOGAF 9.
Current Tech Stack - App support -> SQL/UNIX/ITIL/INCIDENT MANAGEMENT.
YOE- 6+ Years.

Please comment, if you have any other certificate suggestions as well for me.

Tech company lay offs….are they soon to be inevitable?!

There is lots of companies really taking a hit in the tech space. Is this something that people are nervous about? Many seem to still be having a hiring push but with the button falling (IMO this is still just start we have a long way to go to bottom out) will that halt and layoffs ensue? And if so, which depts do you think will get hit the hardest?

One of my direct reports has asked about going part time. They currently manage special reports in a bi-weekly publication, working closely with sales, freelance writers, and an internal designer. Job duties are primarily project management and editing/proofreading. As the first read on articles, they need to have an understanding of the material (business/regulation). I started a few new business ( with debt) this year, and because the way my taxes looked with other losses it looks like I didn't make a ton of money. Now my credit dropped from 800 to 720 and I'm having trouble getting credit. Despite having a perfect payment history and fully able to cover all liabilities. Any way to get the credit up. If I pay off my liabilities then my credit history gets shot with young accounts. What's the best way to handle this?
