I'm a journalist with 5 years of experience in public relations. I got offered a job as a production assistant where I'll have to so tasks related to my experience in PR, but they want to pay me as a junior journalist. Should I accept this?

It depends on how much experience you have in PR. If you're a beginner, then it might be a good opportunity to learn more about the field. However, if you're already an experienced PR professional, then you might be underpaid compared to your skillset. Make sure to ask for a higher salary if you do decide to take the job.

depends what the pay is like i suppose

I am not sure I would accept this job. This job does not reflect your experience or skills and is paying you significantly less than you are worth. You would be better off looking for a position that reflects your experience and pays you accordingly.
