Im really struggling. Every day I'm on the verge of a complete mental breakdown. I'm always working, yet I'm always behind on hours. I feel like I'm digging deeper and deeper in the hole with no end in sight. I know firm life is not for me, but I need the money and don't want a gap in my resume. Im thinking I want to go in-house, but it could be a year before the right job comes along. I'm just so tired. I don't know if I can hold out that long. Anyone facing a similar situation or have advice?

I've always been curious, what happens to your PTO balance when you're admitted to the partnership as an internal promote? I understand partners don't have a formal PTO allotment. Does it get written off or paid out or something else? Thanks!

Amerisourcebergen doesn't care about its employees. We have no mental health awareness. Leadership only promotes people who kiss ass the most qho have no managerial experience and pass people who actually have experience in a manager role. Leadership never helps you with anything. Managers write you up for no reason amd threaton your job constantly. Ive have leasherip threaten my job while on FMLA and write me up for taking too much time off

Has anyone taken unpaid time off and know how that works. I’m a salaried employee with 21 days pto but may need another week next year. Wondering how that works.

My husband makes more than me, but we usually pay 50/50 for all our expenses, including kids. Yesterday, he started a conversation that I spend too much $, that is why he cannot save enough. I maybe spent on my staff $2,000 a year, which, I believe, is very mild, and this is from my salary "leftover ". He, on other hand, spent more than 10K for vacation with his sister (without me), plus lost 20K on the market. I am very upset, and do not know how to handle this situation. Any advice?

I booked a hotel for vacation a few weeks ago, and I just saw the same room on a booking website about $50/night cheaper. I thought "wow what a great deal!" and cancelled my existing booking and rebooked on the other website.

Well it turns out that the other website was in USD and my original booking was in CAD, and instead of saving $50/night I ended up spending $75/night extra.

Moral of the story is, don't be dumb like me

Hey so I work on scheduling and then trying to see any other health care jobs that are remote that are higher positions. Anyone have any recommendations that are remote. Plus that I don’t have to use my pto for holidays.

Where are some cool vacation destinations to hit up this summer? I'm not sure Europe will be open to Americans yet, and we went to Cancun a couple years ago. Any suggestions would be nice :) planning on going for a week or two around 4th of July.

How to take voluntarily out of office leave? I will be in vacation,but it is asking for medical certificate.

I worked as a technical PM for a medium-sized adtech company in NYC in charge of 2 technical teams, and the business intelligence team.

On Thursday I was informed by the lead PO and HR that leadership had decided that the project management office was no longer necessary for the company and all three of us, the director and the two technical PMs, were being let go. None of us were given any notice.

They offered me 2 weeks of severance pay and I negotiated it to 3.

I had an early miscarriage (week 4.5) after a FET with a PGT embryo (medicated cycle).

My doctor wants to move right away to a test cycle (w/ the objective of doing a biopsy and various tests), to be followed by doing the second FET cycle.

I do have Comp offs, Sick leaves and Annual leaves.
