Whats the easiest way to start your own tax return preparation practice (part time at first) then maybe full time if worth it? Which tax preparation software is best to use? Or is it better to start off at HR block or similar places to learn some of the ins and outs before going solo?

It's appalling how bad new associate excel/ppt skills are. There needs to be a way of judging 'readiness' during the interview process.

I was heading into my 2nd round interview in March with PwC's WF of the Future Team (was beyond excited for this). Covid froze hiring for that team. Recruiter and I are in touch, and doesn't seem like that team is hiring yet. Does anyone have insider knowledge regarding this team or any people/organization team's hiring plans? Id really love to get back in the running...

How would you approach an interview process where the company sounds exciting but you feel confident the role would not be a growth opportunity for your skill set? Is there a good way to respectfully approach that topic with the interview team and find a role that might be more exciting for you? Or is it better to walk away?

i have offer from Nagarro with 25 lpa fixed and pwfh , TIAA 25 fixed 10% bonus , HSBC technology asking me for retention but it has production support work along with development so I am bit hesitant to stay in HSBC Technology

Got a offer from TIAA, Pune location for a Associate role. The variable mentioned is discretionary. When I spoke to the HR, she said it is capped at maximum 10 percent. Can you please let me know what percentage can I expect? What has been the average from past?
Fixed Pay offered - 26LPA
YOE - 7

Publicis Sapient - 22.7 lpa CTC, 20.5 fixed - SAL1
TIAA - 17.5 fixed, But HR is very rigid it seems to negotiate.
Both for Mumbai location
