Hi fishes, I’m currently working as a security consultant, primarily involving around the vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and security audits on the Salesforce and web platform. My current CTC is 14 LPA with ~3yoe, based in hyderabad location.

I am looking for some advice, is my current CTC at par with cybersecurity industry, also and having thoughts of, should I be switching my carrier to other stream like development(android & iOS)?

I work in tech in DC area with a salary of 110k. I had 1 YOE when I got the job about 6 months ago. My friend gets paid 150k with 2.5 YOE also in tech. What’s a good TC for SWE/DS in DC area with 2 YOE? I’m feeling insecure about my pay
