It's appalling how bad new associate excel/ppt skills are. There needs to be a way of judging 'readiness' during the interview process.

This is an extremely difficult position, but I bring not only a preference to work the hours they need but the experience and credentials to qualify for the upper range of the salary (RN, MSN, CHPN, 5 years hospice experience). I asked for the range and he gave the range then immediately stated that I would qualify for mid range. What happens if what the employee said is slanderous and a “he said/she said” situation?
