Hi All,
I joined Tech Mahindra for 5 days only and didn't find suitable timing for my project and emailed resignation mail to manager and HR. After that HR asked me to resign over portal but at the same time blocked my portal. After requesting many times they didn't unblock my portal and pretended like they want to unblock but there is some issue going on and marked my profile absconded. I have cleared fnf but they are not providing reliving letter but added pf amount also. What to do?

Just wanna throw it out there - maybe just try a different set of tires? Instead of high performance summers/all seasons, try some grand touring tires which are usually a lot quieter.
I’d recommend that you take a look at Tire Rack’s test article on touring tires, and see what’s best for you. Depending on your stock tire/wheel sizes you may want to get a new set of wheels just so your preferred tires are available. Personally I’ve been a Michelin fan for the longest time until I hydroplaned and landed upside down with a set of their all seasons, and now I run PS4s when it’s warm out, and for colder/wetter seasons I run a set of Vredesteins.
I don’t think you are a sports car person and that’s ok. Like others have mentioned I’d look at GT cars or else maybe one rung down from top performance.
Second this! OP’s use case of highway commuting seems like a good fit for a GT or large lux sedan. As car folks, we free ourselves when we realize the sports car isn’t the answer to everything :)
Well if you're striking out the top Porsche sports car, the top bmw sports car, the top Chevy sports car, the top Lexus sports car you're left with what? An amg gt? Aston? A decked out Audi?

Haha fair enough! I haven’t had a chance to try out the AMG GT 63, Vantage, or DBs. I did test drive an RS7 and remember throttle response feeling sluggish even in dynamic mode.
Could you do something more creative like add more sound proofing to the interior to help? Might cost a reupholster but still maybe cheaper than a full on different car
Good point, I have heard of people doing that to their 911s before. I may look into this option once my CPO warranty expires.

Obviously very subjective, but I’ve never had an issue with tire noise on PS4S or Cup2Rs. Then again, I daily a G63 so I’ve gone a bit numb to “ambient noise”
Sir / Ma’am what you’re looking for is to be found in a BMW 5 series - try out the i5 actually. Very quiet, fast enough. Excellent on the highway
If you want bougie, the Bentley Continental fits what you’re looking for more than the 911.
FWIW, my preferences are the same as yours
Lexus LC and Mercedes SL would be my top alternatives to a 911. Especially if what you’re looking for is a grand tourer that is more touring than sport.
Broadening aperture a bit… Panamera is worth a look if you’re into 4-door grand tourers - I’ve had a couple of them, loved them but the back seats were not the most comfortable. If your budget allows, can’t go wrong with a Bentley Continental.
I haven’t considered the SL at all especially with the latest AMG GT coupe but will look into those. My wife’s been pushing me to test drive a Panamera. I’ve personally never been the biggest fan of the styling (especially the rear) but maybe I give it a chance.
The Bentley is the priciest when looking at used, but seems like there are some options within budget of ~$130k. There are definitely fewer of these around though so test driving may be difficult, but I’ll do my research.

I would argue that it will be hard to enjoy another sports car after the 911. Try an M3 - all the creature comforts plus the space will be nice and the performance is great, especially on the highway
Accept defeat; sell the 911 and buy a Camry. You are not a car person.
Maybe I’m searching for a perfect car that doesn’t exist, especially since there’s always compromises between sporty and comfortable? The Taycan seems like a good option but the range and depreciation make me a little nervous.

Audi R8 or RS7 might give you the suspension press you are looking for. RS7 has a very quiet interior with the double insulated glass.
