Bain & Company Got dinged after a final round AC interview with Bain & Company as an experienced hire with 1 YOE. Currently at $75k base salary and on average work 30-40 hours a week.
Considering $15-25k increase in salary, but double the number of work hours, is it worth reapplying to Bain next year or better to wait to apply until after business school?
I was interviewed at EY UK on 7th Sep. It was quite smooth. Since then I haven't heard anything back from them though interviewer claimed SLA to get back with outcome of interview is 48 hours. On portal it still says I'm in hiring team phase. It was level 1 interview.
Should I take this delay as rejection?

If u have less than 5 years then u can put the paper and start searching . I'm sure u will get a good job once ur in notice period . And if ur in niche technology. If not try and get a offer for 20 or 30 % then put the paper and continue ur job hunt
Yeaa ..thanks :)
You have learnt a very important lesson today. In office, everyone is friendly but not everyone is your friend! It took me years to realise it and since then I have taken precautions about what I share, with whom I share and when I share.
Coming to your question, I would suggest you to continue with your current job and keep looking outside. Find any job with minimum hike and put papers. Post that if you want to look for 2/3/nth offer. Remember the current team is only temporary and you just need to survive through it. Why risk salary by putting papers without offer in hand!
