I'm autistic and have ADHD and honestly it's been rough. I had two kids 18 months apart and I'm a 6th year in BigLaw and I can tell I'm being pushed out. I am great at masking and hyper focusing on tasks so that I seem competent and enough of a "pinch hitter" to survive thus far. But I'm overstimulated 24/7 because I WFH. I'm happy I finally realized I'm autistic with ADHD instead of thinking I have incurable depression and anxiety though.

Junior biglaw tax associate here. Considering an internal transfer vs lateral to NYC from a smaller market. Any firms in the v20 I should avoid/look into? I have pretty reasonable hours at my current firm and trying to avoid going to a sweatshop. Interested in international tax and hoping to avoid m&a. Firms I’m considering: Latham, Gibson, Sidley, Goodwin, Milbank. Thank you all!

If you do billable work on a given PTO/vacation day, do you still count that day as vacation? Or do you get that vacation day "back"? Or do you only get the part that you billed "back"? (Or some other option.)

Has anyone taken the CCRP exam? Currently looking for test prep resources and there are very few. The exam book combo I found on Amazon has mixed reviews and I think the best way for me to prep is to see the questions and get comfortable with them.

I am doing a poll of sorts. I got an offer from Deloitte as a Tax Consultant II in their Hedge Fund Group and an offer from PwC as an Experienced Associate in their Asset Wealth Management Group.
