I lost my job a while back and ended up moving back in with my parents for a bit. Honestly, it felt like a setback at first and I was embarrassed, but it took so much pressure off financially and gave me space to reset. It wasn’t nearly as bad as I feared, it actually helped me focus on next steps without the constant stress of rent hanging over me. You’re definitely not a failure.
Keep in mind most of the world is in this situation.
That’s too easy of a bail out. I would ask friends before asking my parents to move back in. Gotta save enough to have a few years of living expenses covered so that you’re never in this situation.
