Such a happy baby!

hello fishes,
need some advice.
my current ctc is 16 with 5.6 years of experience. I was a contract hire and parent company wants to hire me.
company is service based company.
my current title is senior analyst but they want to make me manager.
they are skipping tech lead and team lead positions.
they are ready to change 5 days working from earlier 6 days working.
they are asking me my expectations.
we are on client location and there is no one above us. Also team is not technically sound.FSS

A ton of issues can prevent it from being successful unfortunately.
Genetic abnormalities
Embryo quality
Anatomy (shape of uterus, polyps, etc.)
Endo/adenomyosis
Timing
Transfer protocol
Microbiome
Lining thickness and quality
High histamine
Immune issues
Inflammation
Hormone imbalance (low progesterone is a common one)
Hydrosalpinx
…and very likely more that science hasn’t found yet

Wishing you luck
8 embryos PGT tested.
5 came back normal.
First transfer success.

Yeah, E2. They were more than doubling, eventually tripling. I ended up w a number in the late 8000’s. Should have asked about a Lupron trigger, but chickened out.
Eggs were in the 30’s. 27 mature. 15 fert. 8 day 5’s. 5 came back PGT norm.
Retrieval 1: No PGS testing
A) Fresh transfer - 🚫 didn’t take (negative pregnancy test)
B) Frozen transfer - ✅ successful, healthy pregnancy, now our toddler.
C) Retrieval 2: PGS tested embryos
Frozen transfer - ✅ successful, healthy pregnancy, now baby

Wow muscle memory for being pregnant? I now wish I had planned a family at 20:'(
How do others get pregnant the minute they say I want to be pregnant:( every single couple around me, and so many accidental pregnancies
Just did a fresh transfer exactly one week ago. So I don't know anything yet! But it looks a lot of people are doing frozen transfer......

That sounds fun 😁😁 eat well and take care of yourself and enjoy the pregnancy journey. :)
I had 2 failed transfers with pga tested embryos - highest quality. My RE agrees to do an ERA and my results showed that I need an extra day of progesterone. I’ve had 3 embryos stick afterwards!
Thanks for sharing.
Mine was unsuccessful, my anatomy I think made the placement very difficult. My second one (successful) they put me under anesthesia and said the placement was very smooth. I attribute that to the success vs. the smaller changes I made like allergy meds, Pepcid, additional acupuncture, diet, etc.
It’s so much info to take into this process and a million decisions. Best wishes in this process and definitely lean on this group for support 💛
I’m sorry. Thinking of you
PGT-A and PGT-M, frozen embryo transfer. First time success.

That sounds awesome for your child. The wonders of science
Just found out 20 min ago that my first FET officially failed 😔(PGT-A tested). Now we have the option to just try again or do a mock cycle with ERA testing.

Analyst 1 what is the difference evergreen ivf and fet? Aren't they the same? And good luck to you for tomorrow :)
First transfer success here... PGS tested 4AA frozen transfer :) I feel very lucky. Thinking about trying for #2.

Congratulations and good luck:)
FET, PGT testes embryo:healthiest of the lot, first time success and I have no clue how it worked except someone somewhere up there looked out for us. Now, even though I always wanted another one, husband and I are very apprehensive of going through the transfer process again. We have a family history of stillbirths, neonatal deaths, miscarriages and going through all that takes a really hard toll on mental and physical health.

It is so hard and with the jobs we have :( even more. Somehow me and my husband have a hundred obstacles the past couple years apart from IVF. It has been incredibly stressful to manage it all and I absolutely have no idea how everyone does . Real warriors for sure. We just pretend it is normal. Works most days except for a couple days when it weighs heavily on us
My best friend had first transfer success, but miscarriage at week 7- unexplained since that would have usually happened due to abnormal genetics, but was not the case. She did her second transfer ~6 months after the MC, it took, and she is 36 weeks pregnant right now.
Fascinating- sad of course. But I’m so happy you ended up with a baby second time around. :)
Infertility is so so strange.
First transfer success (frozen, PGT normal) but miscarried at 15 weeks likely due to an arcuate uterus only discovered in the D&C.

Very sorry to hear. Please dm if you want to talk

What were all your transfer medications like?
I’m not familiar with them but based on other posts I’ve seen it appears they are messy.
