sigh* last week Saturday my s/o & I broke up after our 3 year relationship. & it really been affecting me negatively — not eating, autopilot mode, self isolation & diving deep into work. Today I decided to go outside, where I picked up some food to go and went to an outdoor movie by myself; where I had the realization I just really enjoy being by myself. I grew up in a nuclear family away from extended relatives who were never really close. Parents were either emotionally unavailable or distant. All I've wanted for myself was a big loving family to call my own.. my parents are unaccepting of my sexuality & my partners family is also quite fucked up so she's isn't super close to them either. Honestly this sucks & it feels like I'll never have a huge supportive family I've wanted & craved for.

Just venting. My husband is so much into watching his tv show that he is not at all interested in planning the baby shower or even in making the registry. It just feels that I am doing everything right now and his priorities are just around watching his TV show. My sister & I don’t get along because i feel she is extremely rude & prefers outsiders over family. My parents however, despite the fact that she disrespects them too, always say she is our daughter & we have to deal with it so just let her be. My mom thinks she is not in a good financial state so we should help her & I don’t want to given her disgusting behavior.
