Our work is high enough volume that we’re managing and working on briefs. Our GCDs are, too. It is very strange — I did much more management at my last job as an ACD.
Yes. It’s been a while. But i had a partner go completely high school mean girl. It was a disaster. As far as advice, just try to talk openly. Don’t make it about them or you though. Make it about the team, selling ideas, success moving forward.

Yeah the crazy thing is I’m always game to build on their ideas. One time I thought an idea was way off tone and his response was “YES, AND!!!!” I’m like dude, take your own advice.
Had this happen to me once years ago. Need to work out what their end game is by doing it, and who they do it in front of. What are they trying to make you look bad for?
Then sabotage their efforts by building up the notion of team unity as the most important thing, rather than looking like you’re moaning about them as a person.
What did you do then? That’s F up.
