Sorry not a rec, but just some input on preference. Make sure he actually wants it! I know I much prefer something I can roll for short trips, and wouldn’t like a bag I had to throw over my shoulder

Agree! My husband was convinced he’d never use it but now takes the Catalina Deluxe on every weekend trip
