Let’s talk suits. Do you have any thoughts on a junior associate wearing an expensive suit or a suit that departs from the norm (eg subtle pinstripe navy suit, or a suit with larger lapels/peaked lapels?). I’m thinking about upgrading my suit, but I don’t want to piss anyone off with a suit screaming the message “I’ve made it” when I’m just a junior associate. What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now.
