I applied for few SA roles at AWS after getting the SAA certificate and some badges like the “WAF” and “Advanced Migration”. I also optimized my resume recently trying to match what AWS would look for, but I did not get any 1st call or screening interview!
I also applied to some of the roles using friend’s referral. I have more than 15 years in IT infrastructure mainly in Storage systems (EMC, Hitachi) What could be the problem? Thanks.

Just complaining, but I went to a top ten law school, clerked for a federal judge, and am now a senior associate in biglaw. Meanwhile, my sibling spent 4 years trying to get into med school, finally got into a non MD no name one in the middle of nowhere, works as a basic hospitalist, is loaded with insane debt, yet my parents can't stop talking about how they can't wait for my kids to become doctors. Any other lawyers within doctor siblings facing this type of treatment gap???

I felt like a walking zombie during thanksgiving, barely eating and barely talking. My family is small and I told them ahead of time my relationship ended. I focused on my niece and nephews, cried when I wanted to and slept from 8pm-noon for the last 5 days. Showered once or twice. That’s the best I could do and that’s OK right now. I’m back in my apartment, just trying to take it one day at a time, and not re read his texts too much. My birthday is Thursday 🙄

Guys, motivation is at an all time low, all the associates are pissed. We’re making less than what unemployment pays out and still required to bill 200 hours. No bonuses and no idea when our salaries will go back to normal. Anyone else in a similar boat?

Dealing with serious health issues. Physical and mental. I’m in my mid twenties. Considering quitting and taking 2-4 months to focus on improving my health, going to doctors appointments, exercising, going to therapy, taking time to myself. Just recently joined a new firm after being laid off a few months ago. Don’t think taking a temporary leave of absence is an option. I’m already falling behind on work as a result of these issues and dont think I can catch up and keep up. What should I do?

Just had a hearing on my motion to compel where OC told the judge we hadn’t conferred before filing the motion. Not only did I attempt to confer on 3 separate dates, I attached the emails and his response that he refused to confer to my motion.
