Best/fastest way to do it yourself is an Epson 600-750 scanner with slide inserts.
There are companies you can send off to as well. I’ve used scan cafe (https://www.scancafe.com) when I had large format stuff I needed digitized and they did a good job.
Either way, I’d recommend buying a lightbox and a loupe to go through them first and select the ones you want because it can be a time and or money consuming process.
You could find a older Epson scanner I got a v500 for $50 with film trays. You could also reach out to local camera shops for help. Either they might do it in-house or they might know someone who can do it for you cheaply (like another film photographer). I’m not sure how much it would cost though. It would depend on the amount of images and size.
The pros of just buying a scanner, is that now you have a scanner you can use for other things :)
The cons are now you have a scanner and have to prep and do all the files lol
Another option would be to use a Plustek OpticFilm Series film and slide scanner. It comes with license for SilverFast AI Studio software. Unlike Epson scanner, this is a device dedicated to digitizing film and slides. Fast and precise for this application.
