Is it true that TCS rehiring their ex-employees?
I applied to Amazon job in LinkedIn . Got a mail to complete a Hacker Earth test from Amazon . But i felt not prepared and didn't even try it thinking i might fail and they might not shortlist me the next time when i apply again after preparing .
Do they track any data like who didn't attend the test so they can ignore them next time? Or if i prepare good enough and reapply again after 3 to 4 months would this cause any issue?

Yikes, a full RTO order in summer of 2024? I had assumed that by now most companies had made a permanent decision on whether or not they would make their employees return to the office. Can't believe they're making that decision now. Is it non-negotiable? And can I ask what the company is?
Yeesh I'm so sorry. All i can ask is- what company?? I'm trying to get a new job but i will not entertain a place that will make me RTO.
Its crazy that no one expexted companies to at least go bsck to RTO on a hybrid basis. I love being in the office some days, its easier to get qustions answerd and actually get things done. If uoi want full time WFH maybe apply elsewhere, but post covid i feel like full time is drying up
OP many jobs are making people return to office sadly. It seems like nobody is really allowing ful time work from home these days. You may try looking to see if Allstate is hiring. Last I heard they were still fully remote.
Honestly its not the RTO itself that bothers me- its the fact that i dont feel fairly compensated for the additional cost this is going to be to me: wear and tear on my vehicle, gas, the fact that i have spent thousands of dollars on an ergonomic set up…. I dont mind RTO- i just wanna be fairly compensated for it.
Shelter insurance- but its only if you live within 30 miles of the HO. Which is the other thing that is irritating to me- so if i lived 31 miles i could continue to proceed as normal for my work.
Apparently within 30 miles of your designated office- not just the HO-
And apparently theres already been a backpedal to only 3 days in office a week.
Grinnell Mutual, EMC, Crum & Forster, and Westfield are all remote work friendly.
