I've been offered for Engineering expert position at Novartis India. I've received offer letter 2 weeks back and my DOJ is updated to Mid December. I told the HR that my current company's last working day is on mid January and resend the offer letter with mid Jan as my DOJ. But they told that they can send the revised offer letter 3 weeks before the joining date.
Is this normal process? Has anyone gone through similar experience?

I accepted a position within AFS on Friday, and I was told there would be quite a few approvals needed before I receive a letter. How long does that process take within AFS?

Rpa technology, I know the work is support work in LTI and position is senior developer and in product elecronics company its a very small firm in india however it's subsidiaries are all over the world.
