Has anybody used EF - Ultimate Break to travel? I am planning on going to Costa Rica and wondering if it is a great way to travel as a solo female traveler. Any tips would help :)

Yes, as a back woman who just took her first solo trip with the company, I have had no issues with transportation (Flights, transfers, etc..) Or meeting people. I went on my first EF trip to London, Paris and Amsterdam in September 2022. I was able to go do my own thing if I didn’t want to do all the excursions or if I was just exhausted. I would recommend to book your trips when there is a special sale such as the Black Friday or Christmas sale where they sometimes have a VERY low deposit fee which can vary from $5-$150 ($5 deposit sale before the Black Friday sale) and to book at least 6 months or more before your anticipated dates of travel. I just booked my second trip for 2024.

Also do you tip them?

Yes! But I was with my female friend. It was still a safe and convenient journey for the two of us.

Do you think potential bosses get intimidated when a candidate for a job has about the same amount of experience as them? And won’t hire them for fear that employee might try to take their job once they get in. I know a Sr who has been looking and wondering if this might be a roadblock for her.
