Are monthly reviews now a thing everywhere? I just heard from a friend in HR that tomorrow an email is going out announcing monthly reviews. Is this common? This feels like waaaaaaaaay too many reviews!

Monthly seems a bit excessive. Our team does quarterly reviews, and my previous company only had annual reviews. How are the employees at your company? Are they inconsistent? I'm just trying to determine why reviews would be needed so frequently 🤔

They can be moody? But i thought overall everyone did a good job… but of course there are things i can’t know.

Monthly is gratuitous, we're on a quarterly review schedule as well. I have to be honest, that doesn't bode well. None of the reasons I can think of for implementing this policy are indicative of a successful, thriving company.

I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's Master's in Management. They both have the same requirements, generally speaking, including a field immersion course that serves as a capstone in the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?

How do you call out a senior team for stealing your idea that you presented and wrote months after the project is done? I don’t want to be a dick, but these people are acting like they helped on something they didn’t help on, and I can’t wrap my head around ever doing something like that. I know getting credit for your work is important, how do you protect it from more senior teams? Do I just ask them why they’re doing it?
