I’m 23, plan on working for 2-4 years and then getting my MBA to either go high level industry or big 3 (if MBA is top tier). Is this still a good plan in today’s industry?
On top of everything, I am constantly annoyed by the partners taking the credits from my work. No recognition or whatsoever. In turn, the firm tells us to develop business on our own. When we bring in business, the partners snap the credits as quickly as they can. Funny.
How long does it take to get over ptsd from being in a toxic micromanaging environment? I was a top biller and top manager at a large staffing company for five years and was treated like a child. The place was crazy. Six months into my new role I’m still scared to request PTO or afraid that my boss would be mad if she found that I took an afternoon break to walk my dog.

Hello! I have a two part question: 1) is it worth it to obtain an SHRM specialty credential if I don’t have the broader SHRM certification? 2) has anyone gotten the People Analytics or Talent Acquistion credential? If so, how valuable was it from a learning perspective? Do you feel it significantly contributed to your knowledge in either area? Thank you!
How long, on average, did it take you to study before you could pass the PHR/SPHR exam? Did you think it was worth it?
I believed it is important to take vacation for not only your personal health, but also so your manager realizes your worth to the team/end product when your not there
Ladies & Gentlemen, with one month left in Q2, some will fall short of our numbers. Others will hit them. I can’t speak for all of us here, however, I can speak for myself. That being said, I will NOT be one that comes up short of my number. Now, this leads me to you all, to present a question. If you have to prospect, if you’re looking for new business, is it worth $1500 to put 95% of your prospecting process on autopilot? If so, let’s chat.

Thoughts on Johnson or Stern 1-year Tech MBA? Will it be useful for management consulting recruiting at all, or only for digital/tech consulting and PM roles? I don’t want to do full 2 years (finance, extra year, age) and so I’m exploring European MBAs and 1-year ones, preferably in bigger cities like NYC.
Has anyone applied to their old firm (different department) and not received an interview?
To the PwC newbie at LAX: don't wear your suit on a redeye. Change when you arrive so you don't look like a hobo. And take the onboarding nametag off your laptop case. Actually just buy a new bag.

Looking to take advantage of my company being virtual while I can, and I want to do July/Aug working outside of my home city; ideally anywhere with mountains (eg Montana). I wouldn’t mind doing it alone, but there are limited options that are quite expensive. Any recommendations for finding a potential travel partner to go in on housing? None of my friends are virtual anymore.

Do people think a FT MBA is a good option for me. I don’t really know what I wanna do but I’m thinking I should be able to double my salary (make 90k now). I currently have 150k saved up and tbh I’m super depressed at my job so I’m thinking an mba can help, any advice?

Does anyone have any thoughts on what’s currently market for an in-house counsel job at a healthcare company (most are PE backed)? Currently a third year big law associate that works in the healthcare group doing primary working on PE healthcare transactions. Starting to put out feelers at a few companies (all of which have asked my expected starting comp) and want to avoid the sticker shock of the decrease in comp 😂
Thoughts on "unlimited PTO"? I'm interviewing at a place that keeps bringing it up as a benefit. They say that corporate supports people taking a week to two weeks off. Maybe I'm cynical, but I've heard that at companies that offer this this, people rarely use the PTO or the PTO is rarely approved. What have your experiences been with this?
