As a non-British I will agree that customer service isn’t the best here. On the other hand, I don’t understand why it’s normal in American to expect an insane tip for doing your job. When I was there I found it mad that just because employers prefer to keep high profitability they literally pass on wage expenses to customers through tipping (which if a customer doesn’t pay, they’ll literally be harassed). If that “explains why the greatest businesses are built in America” then I’ll pass on both the better customer service and the toxic tipping culture. At least people have working rights here 🤣
That does not explain why greatest businesses are in America, please ignore this stupid comment 😆 but I think UK customer service is not the worst, it's just not gracious enough
