As consultants we work on a wide variety of projects which makes it challenging to present experiences in a standard resume type format. Does anyone have tips or examples of how to structure this effectively?

One handy tip would be have a section up top on Key Accomplishments. You could highlight a few top achievements across whichever projects. That can grab attention if executed deftly. And to avoid getting tangled up in explaining projects, focus on skill sets. An advantage of shifting the focus in that way is that you can customize the resume for position, emphasizing the skill sets that would be aligned with the position.

I’ve been a club performing rep for years at a SaaS company…but as an enterprise account exec… my average deal size is around $75k in annual recurring, quota of $1M. This is inline for my company but low when I speak with others for Enterprise rep openings. Any thoughts on recommendations for steps to bridge that gap?

Hi all, I have about 7 years of professional experience but only one year as a Customer Success Manager. I work on mid market accounts currently. I love my job, but would prefer to support a more robust platform that will allow me to add more value for my customers.

I’d appreciate your thoughts on what compensation you might expect for a CSM transitioning to a new company with one year of experience.

To clarify, I don’t have an offer yet, I’m just looking to make a move.

Thank you!

Need some feedback! So I was forced to move jobs about 6 months ago due to reorg and the new leader opting to bring their existing EA with them, without even meeting me. I’ve now been asked by a manager from my old department to apply for a job they’re opening that would be a 2 step promotion. She thought she got my managers permission to approach me (see comments)
