Hi there,
Identify WHO you can help and WHAT can you help them with. An easy way to go about it is to pay attention to what people around you are complaining about. Complaints are unmet needs in disguise. Lead with empathy, listen, and ask questions. You’ll then know what their problems are and how you can solve them.

I suggest taking a couple of classes from an ICF-certified school and offer 50 friends and family 1 free session each. From there you’ll get referrals, and you’ll move towards gaining hours for your certification. And best of all you’ll get to see if coaching is right for you in a responsible way. Good luck!
Hi! Recently started this journey myself. Best actionable advice is to do a bit of journaling on where you want to show up and who you want to coach. Can you answer: What am I bringing to the table? That’s step #1 and it’s the most important part. From there it’s about determining your best path forward based on the above.

Happy to chat. I came from a similar background. I was working in professional services as an accountant for several years before realizing that I was in the wrong career path. I found that most of my time was spent volunteering and putting up my hand for other projects that are more related to my strengths. At the time I was aware that I enjoyed presenting, teaching, and mentoring.
I pursued coaching education with ICF to gain further knowledge in the profession. I now run my own coaching business where I help professionals find career fulfillment without stress.
